Ceremony words

Leading a clan can be both difficult, and rewarding.

Your job as a clan leader is to hold all of the clan gatherings, ceremonies, report clan news at full moons, appoint new deputies, warriors, elders, apprentices/mentors, choose warrior names, and make all clan decisions. You can be a tough but fair leader, or a strict yet caring leader. It is your choice how you lead your clan, but you must follow the warrior code, and not be too ambitious.

When a kit becomes an apprentice, an apprentice becomes a warrior, a warrior retires, there is a new deputy, or you are calling a clan gathering, you must say these words.

Gatherings
Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting.

Apprentice ceremony words:

From this day forward, until he/she has earned his/her warrior name, this apprentice will be called (apprentice's name). (mentor's name), (skills/virtues e.t.c. of mentor). May you p down all you know to this apprentice.

Dying apprentice ceremony:

I ask my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He/She has learned the warrior code and has given up his/her life in service of his/her Clan. Let StarClan receive him/her as a warrior. His/Her name will be (warrior/starclan name), because (reason for name). Let StarClan recieve him/her by the name of (warrior/starclan name).

Note: This is said when an apprentice that is almost old enough to be a warrior dies/is expected to die before he/she becomes one. This may be used in the case of the battle if an apprentice dies/is about to die.


Medicine cat ceremony:

Med. Cat: (med. apprentice's name), is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?

Med. apprentice: It is.

Med. cat: Then come forward. Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. She has chosen the life of medicine cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance to your will.

Warrior Ceremony
[Insert apprentice name here], you [Insert qualities to become a warrior here]. It is time for you to become a warrior. I name you [Insert warrior name (you decide it) here]. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?
[Wait for response of, 'I do.']
Then I commend you to StarClan, to become a warrior.

Retirement Ceremony
[Insert warrior name here], is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?
[Wait for response of, 'It is.']
Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given us. I call upon StarClan to give you many seasons of rest.

Sorry that I'm suggesting things in all of these, but I think it is rude to just go ahead and edit it.

With warrior ceremonies, it says in the books that these are the words:

Leader: I, (leader's name), leader of (clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He/she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him/her to you as a warrior in her turn.
(Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?

Apprentice: I do.

Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your courage and skill, and we welcome you as a full warrior of (clan).

See what I mean? its exactly the same as ceremonies in the books.

Also, there is a name changing ceremony as well:

Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he/she will be known as (new name), for (description of the reason).

And can't forget deputy ceremony

I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors (or former deputy name) may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of (Clan) is (warrior's name).

Oh sorry, forgot apprentice ceremony. Wait how about I tell you all the ceremony words, other than warrior, retirement, name change and deputy.
